Info

Listen Up was built on the voices of young people who shared their experience of going to school or any kind of education in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire– the good, the bad and the ugly. We want to hear it all.

Please know there is no right or wrong story to share.

We don’t know what we don’t know so please do share whatever YOU feel is important.

Rules

This is an anonymous submission form. Please do not include names of people, schools or places. If names or specific details are included that compromise the anonymity of the testimony, your testimony will take a lot longer to be posted or not be posted at all.*

Please be respectful in your stories. Stories which include name calling, swearing or other offensive content will not be posted.

*Sorry in advance if there’s a delay in getting your story on the website, as they are checked and uploaded manually. However, we are working as fast as possible to keep you up to date with the latest stories, so please don’t re-submit & please bear with us!

What should you share?

This is completely up to you. Whatever YOU find important and want people to know about. e.g.

· What went right? What went wrong? What could be improved?

· Was there a particular person or activity that made a positive difference in your journey through education? What did they do, what was the activity and what was the result of it?

· Was there something someone said that stuck with you and influenced how you felt and the decisions you made?

· Did you want/need extra support? Did you get it? How did it help?

· Was there a particular space that you really liked or avoided like the plaque? Why? What made it like that?

We want to hear your story!
